Stormzy x Adidas Originals
We were asked by Adidas and #Merky to brand a secret event held in the Adidas Originals store on Carnaby St to promote the release of Stormzy’s debut album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’.
Stormzy x Adidas Originals
Stormzy activated this event by sharing a phone number via Instagram stories asking fans to text him for updates on a secret London event. Fans were then sent the details of where to go and what to do shortly before the event started. Fans got the chance to collect unique merchandise and meet Stormzy in person.
Our approach was to keep the designs as stark and graphic as possible, we did this by using a strict monochrome palette and bold application of the Stormzy x Adidas trefoil.
Assets included window vinyl, large format posters, stickers, step & repeat boards and A3 posters. With the sales and signings, that were available, this event helped Stormzy to reach his first UK Number 1.
